Plug in your Playdate to keep your device alive!

Playdate uses a lithium battery that must be charged and used regularly to maintain the battery’s health. If you need to store the device away for a while, we recommend you make sure that the battery is charged to around 50% first. Leaving your Playdate uncharged for an extended period of time can significantly degrade the battery’s health, and may ultimately cause the device to stop holding a charge. We also recommend charging your Playdate at least once every six months to ensure the battery remains functional.
