What countries are next?

Since shipping is all new to us, we wanted to make sure we could successfully handle shipping to our starter countries first, before we added any others. This nervousness comes from our shipping being extra complicated — we’re paying duties up front to reduce the chance of your package getting hung up in customs. But! If everything goes well with Playdate shipping, we hope to expand our list of countries. If your region is not on the list, let us know via this survey so we know what to prioritize, and can alert you! Stay tuned and thank you for your patience.

What about Malaysia, where Playdate is made?

As of February 13, 2024, we now support shipping to Malaysia! Thanks so much for your patience while we worked to make this possible.

What about Taxes and Duties?

All international Playdate systems will be shipped Delivered Duties Paid (DDP). This means all necessary taxes, duties, and import fees are pre-paid and calculated at check-out. In theory, this means as your Playdate enters your home country, customs will not hold your Playdate hostage and/or ask you pay any surprise taxes or fees. We really hope it all works as planned! Our international shipping partner Passport will be on-hand to answer any international tracking or tax questions.
