Playdate Catalog End User Agreement

About

This agreement applies to games or other products purchased or received from Panic’s Playdate game store, Catalog.

Support

For in-game issues, please contact the game developer first. The game’s Catalog page will provide the developer’s contact information.

If you are not getting satisfaction from the developer, contact Panic.

Refunds

Why we issue refunds:

  1. If a game is not playable. Examples:
    • A technical issue prevents the game from running properly, or prevents the customer from successfully advancing in the game. (In this situation Panic may reach out to the game’s developer for a solution first before offering a refund.)
    • The game lacks an accessibility feature that would allow the customer to successfully play the game.
  2. If a game is inaccurately represented in the game’s marketing.
  3. If a game, Season, or game bundle was pre-ordered and has not yet been delivered to the customer.

Requesting a refund:

  • Contact Playdate support via the Playdate Help Form to request a refund.
  • Unless otherwise required by law, refunds are offered for Catalog products within 14 days of purchase.
  • Refunds will be issued back to the customer’s original payment method.
  • Refunds are designed to make it easy and risk-free to purchase games on Catalog. If it appears to Panic that a customer is abusing the refund process, Panic may at its discretion stop offering refunds to a customer.

Digital Rights Management (DRM)

Games purchased on Catalog are intended to be played on Panic’s handheld system Playdate, and are encoded with DRM to protect against piracy. Customer access to Catalog and its games may be rescinded if the customer makes any attempt to break Catalog DRM.
