How to Set Up a Purchase Pin

A purchase pin can be set up for additional security where you’ll be asked to enter a 4 digit purchase pin when buying games on your Playdate. We highly recommend setting this up if you have children that use your Playdate.

To set up a purchase pin:

• Log into your Playdate account.
• Click the Account tab at the top of the Playdate page.
• Scroll down to the “Purchase Pin” section and click the “Edit” button to enter your 4 digit pin.
• Click “Save”, and you’ll be asked to enter this code anytime you purchase on Playdate.

To change or remove the purchase pin, you can head back to the Purchase Pin section on your Account page and click “Edit”.
